Sales Executive: Phoenix AZ


We are a Silicon Valley fintech company looking for a self-driven, detail- and action-orientated Sales Executive.  This self-starter thinks big, has excellent business judgement, high standards and integrity.  Is able to think strategically and execute tactically. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results driven, works well under pressure, is flexible and can adapt to ever changing situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in the financial payments sector

  • Demonstrated success in building relationships

  • Passion for prospecting and qualifying companies

  • Proficient at collaborating with other team members to provide clients with exceptional customer service

  • Ability to overcome objections

  • Ability to make effective decisions quickly

  • Experience with technical sales

  • Excellent organization, written and verbal communications and time management skills

  • Flexible to work outside of normal business hours depending on location of client or prospecting

  • Has personal drive and internal motivation

  • Familiarity with Sales Force or other CRM software Proficiency MS Office, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Familiarity with Sales Force or other CRM software


Desired Experience

  • 3-5 years of sales experience with significant financial services relationships

  • 3 years working in payments

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proven track record of executing, consistently exceeding objectives and quotas

  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills

  • Salary based on experience, plus bonus

Job Duties

  • Build sales opportunities, lead generation, outbound prospecting work, generate new clients

  • Qualify and follow up on inbound inquiries

  • Initiate cold calls to targeted leads to generate sales opportunities

  • Build awareness and relationships with key executives to create and pursue selling opportunities in new accounts, as well as manage expansion sales opportunities in some existing accounts

  • Achieve sales goals for your region
