Robb is the CEO of Sequent. Before joining Sequent, he was Director of Corporate Business Development with SK Telecom Americas focusing on strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships in the mobile payments and mobile banking industry. Under his direction, SK Telecom Americas and SK Telecom Ventures invested in Mobile Money Ventures, Billing Revolution and Sequent Software, respectively.
Robb holds an MBA from Thunderbird, a Bachelors from Seattle University, and a Certificate of Distinction in Telecommunications and Network Engineering from UC Berkeley and has lived and worked in multiple countries.
David is a Venture Partner at SK Telecom Ventures, a $100M fund based in Silicon Valley, where he leads early and late stage investments. He is a co-founder of XG Ventures, a Google alumni angel fund.
David was hired in 2000 as one of the first 200 employees at Google and was the first executive to lead Google's overseas business development, sales, and operations. He launched Google's offices in Korea, Japan, Greater China, Australia, and helped launch Europe and Latin America. He hired the first management teams in each country and established Google's initial international revenue base. As Senior Director of APAC and ROW, he also lead many major international search advertising partnership deals with eBay, Yahoo, and others, including Google’s investment into Baidu in China.
Drew is the co-founder of Sequent. His strategic and pragmatic vision for NFC payments has come from his experience in the mobile and payments industries.
Drew led business development at the mobile marketing company, HipCricket, for clients such as PepsiCo, Diageo and numerous communications agencies. More recently, Drew served for several years as outside telecom counsel for MNOs, banks, startups, and payment networks with the law firm, Loeb & Loeb. Drew founded and led Project 18, a consultancy dedicated to architecting disruptive product solutions such as mobile payment platforms.
Drew is a graduate of Brown University and the Northwestern School of Law.
Representing Jado Investments LLC, David is an original Board Member of Sequent since its founding in 2010. David's area of focus for Jado Investments’ diverse portfolio includes mobile applications, services, online advertising, marketplaces, and biotechnology.
As an operator and investor, David has decades of experience as a CEO, President and member of the board of directors with companies in multiple industries around the world. From founding the first micro-brewery group in Asia to the first ecommerce site in Hong Kong, David has founded or helped fund more than two dozen companies, launching operations in the US, China, Mexico, Hong Kong and Ireland. In addition to Sequent, David sits on the boards of Rightstrade, Residual Knowledge, Last Mile Networks and GetUncommon.

A mobile and consumer marketing veteran with more than 20 years operating experience, Bob Borchers comes to Opus Capital from Apple, Inc where he served as Sr. Director of Worldwide Product Marketing for the iPhone. As part of the original iPhone team, Bob was instrumental in the development, launch and global expansion of the revolutionary iPhone, iPhone OS & App Store.
Prior to Apple, Bob was Vice President of Marketing at FusionOne, a pioneer in creating and marketing mobility solutions. Bob also spent six years at Nokia where he co-founded and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Vertu business unit. Before his career in the mobile industry, Bob worked for Nike, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, where he led efforts in product and service personalization.
