Hans is a mobile payments expert, having led business development in NFC at ViVOtech from 2005-2010. Hans is an established thought leader and a trusted advisor to banks, merchants, carriers, and other players in the NFC value chain. Known as the "NFC Guy," he is the former Chairman of the North America Marketing Task Force for the NFC Forum, the most influential trade group in NFC. Previously, Hans was the business development and sales manager for IXI Mobile and Texas Instruments.

Hans has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
