Sequent Core Card Services

Sequent Core Card Services (CCS) is proprietary software that consists of on-device and back-end components that enable mobile app developers to use credentials stored in the secure element and to access Sequent Secure Element Management services. Core Card Services makes it possible for any mobile app to use the credentials stored in the secure element.

Consumer access to secure credentials while using any mobile app is key to widespread adoption of NFC. CCS enables app developers to deliver on consumer expectations by letting them use their credit cards and other credentials from within every app that matters to them, like shopping and banking apps. It also gives retailers the ability to integrate NFC services within their own branded loyalty and affinity mobile apps.

CCS simplifies the use of secure elements for app developers. It provides easy-to-use commands so authorized apps can access secure credentials while protecting the secure element from unauthorized use. Apps can only access their associated credentials and have no visibility or access to use other credentials stored in the secure element.

CCS is bundled with the Sequent Care Platform and with components that handle Wallet Registration, Issuer Metadata Management, Access Control, Flexible Storage, and Offers and Coupons.
