Sequent Issuer Enterprise Plug-in
Sequent Issuer Enterprise Plug-in is a software component deployed on-site at issuers that expedites the issuer's ability to deliver and manage credentials on NFC enabled mobile devices. It integrates with Sequent Secure Element Management. The software enables issuers, or their service providers, to securely issue credentials from their existing issuing systems to the secure element in the device. It complies with current Global Platform standards, supporting secure over-the-air provisioning and personalization of the most popular smart card applets.
Mifare, legacy magnetic stripe data, and EMV payment applets can all be securely provisioned and personalized from the secure back-end systems of self-issuers, or their issuer service providers, directly to the secure element. The Plug-in transfers issuer and credential metadata during the personalization process to Sequent Core Card Services for use by authorized applets.
The Sequent Issuer Enterprise Plug-in also makes it easy to issue merchant credentials, like coupons and loyalty cards, to secure elements by handling the data formatting, applet matching, and key management needed for each merchant's NFC readers and point-of-sale terminals.
Sequent Issuer Enterprise Plug-in incorporates the Enterprise SDK and offers credential issuers build/buy alternatives and creates enterprise friendly APIs that are pre-integrated with the Sequent platform.
