Application Developers
Innovation from the application developer community is critical to the adoption of NFC. Consumers expect their personal credentials to be accessible across all apps to reap the benefits of NFC. The challenge for application developers is accessing consumer credentials in the secure element in an authorized manner that protects the integrity of the secure element.
The Sequent CCS SDK for App Developers accelerates NFC app development by providing a set of APIs that enable application developers to build NFC enabled apps that securely use credentials stored within the secure element. The app developer SDK accesses Sequent Core Card Services to gain controlled access to the secure element. Developers can build apps that access consumer credentials from any secure element form factor and for any app, even non-payment apps.
The Sequent Application UI is a JSON based design framework that enables app developers to design elegant and intuitive consumer-branded NFC apps. The developer-friendly framework integrates with Sequent’s Core Card Services, which provides required application lifecycle management services.
